Q: If a local farmer takes care of my vineyard, what revenue will the vineyard generate?
A: It depends on the size of the vineyard.
In case of a small vineyard - less than 2Ha - the farmer who takes care of the vineyard will keep the harvest in return for his work, and no money is exchanged. The advantage for the owner is that the vineyard is maintained, and keeps its value. This is interesting for owners who don't live permanently on their vineyard and don't have time to look after it themselves.
If the vineyard is larger than 2 Ha you can expect to be paid a rent, which is subject to individual negotiation.
