Between Asti and Nizza Monferrato

The Situation : This 260 year old brick house is set in a gentle valley beneath an attractive hilltop town. The south-facing property measures a total of 7,000 m² (1.75 acres). The location is very sunny and offers fine views over open countryside to the distant hills. Distance to the motorway: 20 minutes. The nearest mainline railway station is in Agliano.

The House is of L-shaped brick construction with plastered exterior. The house was built with two entrances and in the style of a traditional "cascina", in which the living and working areas are under one roof. This makes architectural and functional changes quite straightforward. The total floor area measures about 400 m² (4000 ft²). The house features traditional vaulted brick ceilings throughout.
