Situation : This very secluded property is situated on a sunny hillside enjoying beautiful views over lush green Monferrato hills and ancient hilltop villages. It has excellent road access, and it is situated near an attractive village with day-to-day shopping facilities. The nearest town is a ten-minute drive away and offers a good range of shops, banks, restaurants and bars. The property is approached by a quiet country road, from which a short drive leads to the sunny courtyard in front of the house. Distance to the motorway is about 20 Km (12.5 miles).

The house: is a 350 years old farmhouse of solid stone construction. This type of house is called a rustico: they are highly sought-after, and it has become increasingly difficult to find them in Southern Piedmont. This one measures 31.4 x 10.6 meters, and the residential part of the house currently has seven rooms - three on the ground floor and four on the first floor. The working areas of the house include a stable, a portico and a hayloft - these could easily be included in the living area, if desired. The house has never been renovated, and the rooms feature traditional brick-vaulted ceilings and open fireplaces that are entirely preserved in their original condition.
