Near Alba
Surrounded by vineyards, with endless views over the rolling Langhe and Monferrato hills, this property enjoys a very quiet rural location. On clear days, you can see from the house the majestic peaks of the Swiss Alps 90 kilometers away. Alba and Canelli are both about 20 minutes away: both towns are popular tourist destinations and offer excellent shopping, markets, restaurants, banks, schools and medical facilities.
The House
The south-facing Piedmontese cascina (farmhouse) is about 200 years old and built with natural stone. The building is divided into three parts: the house for sale is in the middle. One of the other houses is inhabited all year round. The courtyard in front of the house, shared by the residents, provides a convenient parking area.
Accommodation
Ground Floor: The entrance leads from the courtyard into a small hallway with stairs to first floor and a WC. The hallway opens into a large, sunny living / dining room with an open fireplace and doors and windows to the terrace behind the house. Next to the living / dining room is a modern, fully-equipped kitchen.
The First Floor has two spacious double bedrooms and two bathrooms, each equipped with a shower, WC and handbasin.
Terrace and courtyard
A short driveway leads from the quiet country lane to a gate and the spacious gravel courtyard beyond. The courtyard includes a carport and plentiful parking. The large terrace located behind the house offers great views - it's a great place for relaxing during the hot summer months.

Southern Piedmont offers plentiful trails for hiking. Horse riding is popular in the area, and there is a livery stable not far away. Tennis courts can be found nearby, and the dense network of paved roads in the region is especially attractive to cyclists.

Our personal opinion: a well-kept holiday home that could be used as a year-round residence, but would be ideal as a summer vacation rental property.
